Arkadium Spider Solitaire is a charming game of strategic card play. It's based on the classic card game, but with an exciting twist! The goal is to clear all cards from the table by making pairs of cards that are one rank apart or are both spiders. You can also make groups of three or more cards in sequence (e.g., 3-4-5) and they will all disappear at once if they're either all spades, hearts, diamonds, clubs, or stars.. A new deck appears when you successfully deal all cards from the existing one. If you run out of moves, the game is over and you get a penalty based on how many cards are left.
The entire gameplay in Spider Solitaire is comprised of this one screen with a table in which cards appear during a certain time frame. The overall gameplay represents an arcade theory; the only difference is that there are no enemies to be seen. The player's goal is not to destroy an object or anything like that, but to play cards in the correct sequence all the while trying to beat his old scores.
The Spider Solitaire gameplay is virtually non-existent if it weren't for this neat little twist they added. The moment you realize that you can make groups of three or more cards to remove them is where the game gets interesting and addictive. This element creates a completely new playstyle, as your main mission will now be to create bigger groups of cards so as not to run out of moves anytime soon.
Arkadium Spider Solitaire is playable in every browser since it does not require special plugins.
